The seats are normally fully occupied especially during weekends. Here are what we had (total cost RM45 including a pot of Chinese tea for 3 pax)...
- Kai Woh Pao (鸡窝包) -> Combination of loh mai kai (糯米鸡) and char siew pao (叉烧包). A very innovative invention. The pao is tender and fine. Char siew and glutinous rice are quite tasty. However, the glutinous rice is not soft enough. Recommended and worth a try but I think it can be better.
- Steamed Dim Sum -> We ordered har gao, siu mai, crystal gao and fish balls. Taste average.
- Yam Puff (芋角) -> Yam is fried until quite crispy and fluffy. Tastes not bad.
- Yam Ring (佛钵) -> Average.
- Fried Radish Cake (炒萝卜糕) -> Tasty. Slightly too oily. It will be better if the radish cake is cut into smaller pieces.
- Century Egg & Minced Meat Porridge (皮蛋瘦肉粥) -> Tastes quite good but porridge is not fine enough.
- Chu Cheong Fun with Prawns (猪肠粉) -> Average.
- Egg Tarts (蛋塔) -> I like the fluffiness of the skin. Recommended.
