12 November 2010: Before departing for sight-seeing and photography session at I-City, my friends and I had a gathering with friends at Restoran Baby Seafood, Klang. It is an air-conditioned restaurant serving mainly Chinese and Thai cuisine. Since there are 10 of us, we ordered 8 types of dishes which cost us RM244 in total. Here are what we had:
- Mango Prantis Prawn -> Crunchy and crispy prawns. Not bad.
- Spinach with Soup -> Quite good. We emptied the plate within 10 minutes after it’s served. Maybe because it’s the only vegetable dish ordered
- Tauhu -> So so.
- Fish Maw in Claypot -> Big pieces of fish maw.
- Tom Yam Steamed Fish -> Steam fish over charcoal stove, signature dish here. I personally think that it’s not hot and sour enough.
- Deep Fried Squid -> Crispy and quite tasty.
- Thai Pork “Hand” -> Quite dry and hard and “fatty”. I personally do not enjoy this dish.
- Stuffed Chicken Wing -> Unique preparation method, boneless chicken wing stuffed with ham, cheese, vege, etc… One of the signature dish here. Taste ok.
