23 April 2011: Restoran Jin Xuan Hong Kong (锦选香港特极点心) specializes in Hong Kong style dim sum. Its main branch is in Kuchai Lama and it's recently renovated and rebranded. It used to be called Restaurant Kam Hin.

There are normally waiting queue outside the restaurant, especially during weekends. We were lucky enough to be the first few in the queue and we got a table in less than 10 minutes. Here are what we had (price range from RM4++ to RM4.80++)...

  • Deep-fried Radish Cake -> Taste ok. Skin not crispy enough.
  • Deep-fried Yam Puff -> Quite tasty. Crispy and fully. Recommended.
  • Char Siew Puff -> Good. Worth a try.
  • Loh Mai Kai -> Texture ok. Taste a bit too sweet.
  • Stuffed Chilli -> Average. Not spicy.
  • Steamed Pork Ribs -> Average.
  • Siu Mai -> Not bad.
  • Chu Cheong Fun with Prawns -> Chu cheung fun is soft, fine and thin. Quite good.
  • Porridge with Century Eggs -> Fine and tasty. Recommended.
